Sickness prevailed this week. But, I still got some stuff done:
1. A TON of laundry due to puking people.
2. Read 1.5 books.
3. Continued working on my crocheted sweater and latest rectangle for the Warm Up America afghan. And finished my entrelac training project.
4. Researched options for felting said entrelac project.
5. Wrote or journaled or outlined 3 weekdays.
6. Volunteered at the Carnival at my child's school.
7. Recruited other parents to participate in a city focus group in a few weeks.
8. Started teaching one child the basics of chess (while also teaching myself).
9. Cleared out pantry area of unwanted appliances and other stuff that was just taking up space.
My hubby gets lots of extra props for being super helpful with me and the kids while we were sick this week.
My husband is concerned that I'll turn into Peg Bundy - doing nothing by sitting on my tush and eating bon bons - now that my kiddos are almost in school full-time. I am going to keep this blog to show him how much I am NOT like Mrs. Bundy.

February 9th - 15th
Ways I am keeping busy this week and therefore NOT like Peg Bundy:
1. Learned Entrelac Knitting and am half-way through making a cute little bag to keep my knitting tools in. I used these resources:

http://www.knittingdaily.com/blogs/daily/archive/2009/01/30/entrelac-tips-and-a-free-entrelac-scarf-pattern.aspx
2. Read Malcolm Gladwell's "David and Goliath" and Tessa Gratton's "The Lost Sun".
3. Started a reading challenge on GoodReads to read 52 books this year. So far, I've read five.
4. Journaled and/or wrote each weekday this week.
5. Participated in each of my children's Valentine's Day parties at school, including spearheading the crafts for each class.
6. Cleaned up puke twice (so far). Not loving the continued issues with stomach bugs. Ugh!
7. Attended meetings for PTA and DAR.
And, don't forget the weekly typical chores like: laundry, dishes, bills, trips to the library, managing kiddo screen time, managing kiddo homework, feeding the family, etc.
Definitely NOT sitting around and eating bon bons. :)
